Didn't see Napoleon though. But saw some sweet bikes. We hung out and ate and talked. The kids went to the park several times and even found a kitten they begged for us to adopt. (Yeah like we need ONE MORE pet in this house!) Yes, both arms were broken Monday June 16. Zach + three other 13 year old boys + trampoline = trouble. After being double or triple bounced (we're not sure) and taking an exciting flight across his friend's backyard, Zach ended up on the ground with some injuries.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SHuBUcE9uvU/SGQTnFMU7tI/AAAAAAAAAAg/odUFmAei7EE/s1600-h/zachs_arm1.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_SHuBUcE9uvU/SGQTnFMU7tI/AAAAAAAAAAg/odUFmAei7EE/s200/zachs_arm1.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5216315830531583698" border="0" /></a>He landed in the sitting position with his arms behind him. His right arm just has a buckle fracture on the wrist, but his left arm broke through both bones about where you would wear a watch. You can kind of see the break in this photo of the xray.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SHuBUcE9uvU/SGQTvqwM3pI/AAAAAAAAAAo/rcHOMfJUSGE/s1600-h/zach_broken.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 10px 10px 0pt; float: left; cursor: pointer;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SHuBUcE9uvU/SGQTvqwM3pI/AAAAAAAAAAo/rcHOMfJUSGE/s200/zach_broken.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5216315978053115538" border="0" /></a>They weren't sure if his left elbow was broken or not, but it was hurting him so they casted it up as far as his bicep. He was in a lot of pain the first few days. Allie stayed with him around the clock for a few days to help care for him. Once the swelling started to go down the pain lessened a bit, too. A week later he went in for the real casts. He chose BYU blue, of course.<br /><br /><a onblur="try {parent.deselectBloggerImageGracefully();} catch(e) {}" href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SHuBUcE9uvU/SGQVP5vPOhI/AAAAAAAAABA/sssmUYdsWoI/s1600-h/zach_casts2.jpg"><img style="margin: 0pt 0pt 10px 10px; float: right; cursor: pointer;" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_SHuBUcE9uvU/SGQVP5vPOhI/AAAAAAAAABA/sssmUYdsWoI/s200/zach_casts2.jpg" alt="" id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5216317631343049234" border="0" /></a>The casts are waterproof (boy have we come a long way since heavy plaster casts) and he should be able to do most of the stuff at Scout Camp that he'd normally do.
